Remote work makes it harder for people to get started in this industry. I’ve been meeting with newcomers one-on-one for a couple of years now – usually one person a month who reaches out wanting to learn. I’m making it official with weekly office hours. I’m 100% remote these days, so these meetings are virtual (I could be talked into coffee in the Lower East Side…)

I’ll open my calendar four weeks out. I focus on Thursday 11 am slots. Sometimes I need to cancel, but I’ll reschedule when I can. If you don’t see open slots, I’m booked – check back since spots open up regularly.

This is an experiment. We’ll see how it goes.

The Gatecrashers

The Gatecrashers is a near future scifi universe and comic series created by Zachary Mortensen. The Gatecrashers launched, to critical acclaim, as a comic series and website and landed on both Bleeding Cool and The Village Voice ‘Best Of the Year’ lists.
